11 producers flew to the DRC for 5 days and combined with Congolese musicians to create “Kinshasa One Two”. An album that is an interesting mix of modern electronic and african music, and all the money made from album sales go to oxfam. So you get to hear good music and save africa..
One of the producers is the legendary Damon Albarn (Blur, Gorillaz, The Good, The Bad & The Queen and Monkey), and here is one of the tracks he features on and it is top notch.

But then again WU LYF had the same thing, maybe these bands need the buzz to get noticed above the mainstream dross of these days, or stagnent ‘indie’ bands like Radiohead.
Regardless OFWGKTA have been propelled by great talent and then some great marketing. One of OFs unnoticed talents has been beat maker Syd and she is concocting an album called, “The internet” and if it sounds like as good as this LDR remix we are in for a treat. Stream below.

Took a trip to silver screen last night to see the IMDB hyped ‘Drive’, and it was well worth my cash, its a fantastic film with real style, brutal violence, great car chase scenes and a thumping 80’sesc soundtrack. You can download it here from iTunes.
